What will my yard cost?

Step 1 of 3

What are we quoting?
How big an area?

A two-car driveway is roughly 600. A standard back patio runs 300 to 500. Rough numbers are fine.

Anything else? (optional)

Your estimate

$45 to $60

per visit, about $195 to $260 a month

Based on typical Inland Empire lots. Final price is confirmed on the first walkthrough, and it does not change after that.

Takes about a minute. No payment now, and no obligation.

  • C-27 and C-8 licensed
  • Under 1 hour response
  • No subcontracted base work
  • Written price, locked

What we do

Everything a property out here needs, all of it in house.

No subcontractors on the base work. The crew that pours your concrete is the crew that sets your block and runs your irrigation, which is why the grades actually line up.

Pavers and concrete

Patios, driveways, walkways, and pool decks. Compacted base, proper drainage, and edging that holds through a wet winter.

From $9 a sq ft

Block walls and masonry

Retaining walls, seat walls, planters, and property walls. Footing, rebar, and drainage done to code so it does not lean in five years.

From $55 a linear ft

Artificial grass

Pet-rated and play-rated turf over a proper base with real drainage. No water, no mowing, and it stays green in a 110 degree July.

From $11 a sq ft

Sprinklers and water systems

Complete system repairs, new installs, valve and line work, drip conversion, and controller programming. We find what is wasting water.

$89 diagnostic

Planting, gravel and DG

Drought-tolerant planting, decomposed granite pathways, dry creek beds, and gravel work sized for our clay soil and summer runoff.

From $2.50 a sq ft

Tree trimming and maintenance

Shaping, thinning, deadwood, and palm skinning, plus weekly or biweekly service that keeps the whole property looking finished.

From $45 a visit

Defensible space and weed abatement

Got a 30-day notice from the County? We clear all three zones to code, handle vacant parcel abatement, and photograph everything for your file.

Deadline work welcome

Drainage and slope work

Clay soil sheds water instead of taking it. Area drains, French drains, swales, and slope planting that keeps the hillside where it belongs each winter.

Quoted on site

Landscape lighting

Low-voltage path, uplight, and security lighting on a timer. Cheapest thing you can do to make a finished yard look like it cost twice as much.

Stop paying to water grass you don't walk on

Your water district will help pay for the living version.

Rebates here are not one number. What you get depends on which district bills you, and a few stack a local incentive on top of the regional rate. The paperwork is where everyone gives up, so we file it for you.

  • You must be approved before the grass comes out. Starting early disqualifies you.
  • Minimum 250 sq ft removed, and at least three plants per 100 sq ft
  • Pre and post inspection photos filed on your behalf
  • Artificial grass does not qualify. Living plants only, no exceptions.
  • HOA pushing back? California law protects drought-tolerant landscaping.

What's my rebate worth?

Pick your city and tell us how much grass is being replaced with living plants.

A typical IE front lawn runs 800 to 2,000.

Jurupa Community Services District

$3,000

estimated rebate at $2.00 per sq ft

Rebate programs are first come, first served and funding changes during the year. We confirm your district's current amount in writing before you commit to anything.

Before you tear out the lawn

Two ways to lose the grass. Only one comes with a check.

We install both, so we have no reason to steer you. Here is the part most contractors leave out until the deposit is already down.

Living conversion

Drought-tolerant planting

Rebate eligible

  • Your water district pays per square foot removed
  • Water bill drops and stays down
  • Shade trees can add $100 each on top
  • Needs three plants per 100 sq ft to qualify
  • Beds still need weeding a few times a year

Synthetic

Artificial grass

No rebate

  • Synthetic turf is excluded from the regional rebate program
  • Zero irrigation and zero mowing, permanently
  • Stays green through August and through drought rules
  • Pet and play rated, drains through the base
  • Higher up front, and it gets hot in direct sun

Plenty of yards end up with both: turf where the kids and dogs actually play, planted beds everywhere else. Only the planted square footage counts toward a rebate, and we measure it that way on the estimate.

Defensible space

Got a clearance notice? The clock is 30 days.

Riverside County inspects annually and issues an order to abate. Miss the window and the County clears it for you, bills you, and records the cost against the property. We run this work every summer and we know what the inspector is actually looking for.

ZONE 0

0 to 5 feet

Ember resistant. Nothing combustible against the structure, gutters and roof cleared, no bark mulch in the strip.

ZONE 1

5 to 30 feet

Dead material removed, tree limbs raised off the ground, plants spaced so fire cannot ladder up into the canopy.

ZONE 2

30 to 100 feet

Grass cut low, brush thinned and spaced, dead wood hauled out. Slopes kept rooted so the winter rain does not take the hillside.

How it works

Four steps, and a number in writing before we start.

Hardscape is where homeowners get burned, usually by a handshake price that grows once the concrete is broken. So we put it on paper first.

01

Price it yourself

Use the estimator up top for a real range in about a minute. No sales visit, no pressure, no phone number required to see a number.

02

Walkthrough and measure

We measure, check grades and drainage, look at access for equipment, and talk material. Usually 30 minutes.

03

Written scope and price

Line items, materials, and a start date, emailed the same day. That number is what you pay. Change orders only if you ask for a change.

04

One crew, start to finish

Same people from demo through final grade and cleanup. Photos at each stage, and we haul everything out.
